FRED INKLAAR
A fellow graduate student at the Sandberg Institute. Fred and I share the idea that design is at its best when feeding primarily from other disciplines, especially science and music. In 2001 he joined Gabriëlle Marks and me at the Oude Braak Studio. Together we worked under the name AIRPLANT.

A regular partner in video and motion graphic projects since our days together at the Sandberg Institute. Oskar has extensive experience in designing for broadcast media. His collective Captain Video plays an essential part in Dutch VJ culture since the early 1990's.

As part of Captain Video, Kees is often seen directing live action sequences and solving complax technical puzzles, such as the MPEG player system used at the NOVA studio.

A long-term, symbiotic design partner Gabriëlle joined Joost Verhaak and me at the Oude Braak studio in 1999, soon after finishing her MA in Groningen at MediaGN (now Frank Mohr Institute).

My first design partner in the Netherlands, Joost and I worked from 1997 to 2001 under the name Mount.nl and developed a number of online applications and web sites, primarily for the cultural sector.

Aldje's design expertise lies fully on digital media and interactivity. She finished her MA at Media-Gn and joined the Airplant studio in 2002. Her autonomous projects often involve cooperations with artists and musicians. Currently Aldje teaches at the Willem de Koning Academy in Rotterdam
